Communication Consent

Overview

This page describes the two categories of communications Vohrel may send to parents and guardians, and how consent is captured for each. Our goal is to keep you well-informed about your student’s tutoring plan while providing clear, separate consent for optional marketing communications, in compliance with federal regulations such as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

Essential Service Updates (Mandatory Consent)

By providing your email address during booking, you agree to receive essential service communications via email from Vohrel LLC. If you additionally provide a phone number and check the SMS consent box at checkout, you separately agree to receive session reminders via text message. These messages are essential for the delivery and management of your student’s tutoring services and do not contain promotional content.

These communications may include:

• Scheduling and logistical updates. Upcoming session reminders, confirmation of scheduled appointments, and immediate notifications regarding schedule changes, cancellations, or tutor availability.
• Account notifications. Billing, invoice, and payment processing notifications.
• Academic progress updates. Urgent, specific updates regarding your student’s progress, diagnostic reports, or necessary adjustments to the learning plan.

Optional Promotional Communications (Express Written Consent Required)

We periodically offer resources and services designed to further benefit your student — such as prep workshops, new course launches, or client referral incentives. Receiving these messages is entirely optional and is not a condition of enrolling in or receiving any tutoring services.

Promotional communications are only sent to users who have provided express written consent during checkout or via a separate opt-in form. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.

Opt-Out Procedure

You may update your preferences or revoke consent for promotional communications at any time:

• Text messages: reply STOP to any promotional text message we send you.
• Email: click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any promotional email, or email support@vohrel.com.

Opting out of promotional communications does not affect delivery of essential service communications required to provide your tutoring services.

Record of Consent

When consent is captured digitally through our booking flow, we retain a record including: parent/guardian name, email, phone number (if provided), student first name, date and time of consent, IP address, and the version of this policy in effect at the time.

This record serves as proof of consent for TCPA and applicable consumer protection compliance purposes.
