Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you and Vohrel LLC (“Vohrel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Utah. By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise accessing or using the Vohrel platform at vohrel.com(the “Service”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are under 18 years of age, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf. By permitting a minor to use the Service, the parent or guardian accepts full responsibility for that use.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice.

Description of Services

Vohrel LLC provides an online math tutoring platform offering the following core services:

• Online math courses — structured video and written instruction for subjects ranging from Algebra 1 through AP-level and college mathematics.
• Course access & resources — formula sheets, practice problem packs, concept checklists, and downloadable study materials.
• AI math tutor (Zola) — an AI-powered chat assistant powered by Anthropic’s Claude API, designed to answer math and platform-related questions.
• Live tutoring sessions — private 1-on-1 tutoring and group drop-in sessions conducted via video conferencing.
• Office hours — scheduled live Q&A sessions with the instructor.

Vohrel reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any loss resulting from such changes.

User Accounts

To access most features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your password and not share your credentials with any third party.
• Notify us immediately at contact@vohrel.com of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or attempt to circumvent platform access controls.

Subscriptions & Payment Terms

Vohrel offers paid subscription plans that unlock tiered access to courses, resources, and services. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following:

• Billing. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis. Your payment method will be charged automatically at the start of each billing period.
• Payment processor. All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. Vohrel does not store your full card details. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service.
• Price changes. We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days’ advance notice. Continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
• Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial-month refunds are issued.
• Refunds. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 7 days at contact@vohrel.com.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails, access to paid features may be suspended until payment is successfully processed.

Pay-per-session tutoring bookings (1-on-1 and group drop-in) are separate from subscriptions and are subject to the pricing displayed at the time of booking.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Vohrel platform — including but not limited to course videos, written lessons, formula sheets, practice problems, branding, logos, and software — is owned by or licensed to Vohrel LLC and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any Vohrel content without prior written permission.
• Sell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit any content from the platform.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or systematically download platform content.
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit to Vohrel may be used by us without any obligation to compensate you.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Vohrel does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vohrel LLC and its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall Vohrel LLC’s total cumulative liability to you exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to Vohrel in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to first contact Vohrel LLC at contact@vohrel.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
