You may cancel a private tutoring session at no charge by providing at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled session time. Cancellations must be submitted via email to support@vohrel.com. Upon timely cancellation, you will receive either a full refund to your original payment method or a session credit, at your election. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled private session are considered late and are non-refundable. The session will be marked as completed. If you experience a genuine emergency (medical, family, or otherwise), please contact us as soon as possible. We review emergency requests on a case-by-case basis and may, at our sole discretion, offer a one-time courtesy credit.
Private sessions may be rescheduled at no charge with at least 24 hours’ notice. Each session may be rescheduled up to two times. A third reschedule request for the same session will be treated as a cancellation.
Group sessions require 48 hours’ notice for cancellation, as your absence may affect the learning experience of other participants. Timely cancellations will receive a full refund to the original payment method.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled group session are non-refundable. The session will be marked as completed.
Group sessions cannot be individually rescheduled because they are coordinated across multiple participants. If you are unable to attend a group session, the cancellation policy above applies.
A “no-show” occurs when a student (or their parent/guardian) fails to join a scheduled session within 10 minutes of the start time without prior notice. No-shows are treated as completed sessions. No refund or session credit will be issued. If a tutor is unable to reach the student or parent/guardian within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time, the tutor will end the session and log it as a no-show.
In the rare event that Vohrel must cancel a session due to tutor unavailability, technical failure, or other circumstances within our control, you will be notified as soon as possible and offered your choice of:
If Vohrel cancels a session, no cancellation penalties apply to the student.
If Vohrel offers multi-session packages at a discounted rate, the following terms apply to those packages in addition to the per-session policies above.
If you wish to cancel a remaining package after using one or more sessions, you may request a partial refund. The refund will be calculated by deducting the full single-session rate (not the discounted package rate) for each completed session from the total package price. The remaining balance, if any, will be refunded.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, session packages expire 90 calendar days from the date of purchase. Expired sessions are non-refundable.
Session packages are non-transferable and may only be used by the student identified at the time of purchase, unless Vohrel provides written approval.
Vohrel does not issue refunds via cash, check, or alternative payment methods.
If you believe a charge is incorrect or that a refund was improperly denied, please contact us at support@vohrel.comwith the subject line “Refund Dispute.” Include your session date, the amount in question, and a brief description of your concern. We will acknowledge your dispute within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 14 business days.
We respectfully request that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your financial institution. Chargebacks incur processing fees that increase costs for all users, and we are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes will not apply retroactively to sessions booked before the effective date of the updated Policy. This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
