Your child. Our commitment. The agreement between Vohrel and parents or legal guardians of students under 18.
At the time of booking, you may be asked to provide the following information about your child:
This information is used solely to personalize and deliver effective tutoring sessions. We collect this information from you — never directly from the student through the Platform.
All communications regarding your child’s tutoring — including scheduling, progress updates, and session feedback — will be directed to you, the Parent, through support@vohrel.com (primary communication channel).
Vohrel tutors will not independently communicate with minor students outside of scheduled tutoring sessions. Any communication regarding session content, homework materials, or academic progress will be routed through the Parent. If you voluntarily share academic materials (homework, worksheets, textbook pages) with our tutoring team via email, those materials will be used exclusively for tutoring purposes.
Vohrel does not record tutoring sessions by default. If session recording is ever implemented for quality assurance or training purposes, Vohrel will obtain your explicit written consent before recording any session involving your child. You will have the right to opt out of recording without any impact on service delivery.
You may not record sessions without prior written consent from Vohrel and the tutor. Unauthorized recording may result in immediate session termination.
All instructional materials, curricula, worksheets, and visual aids created or provided by Vohrel during tutoring sessions are the intellectual property of Vohrel LLC. These materials are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial educational use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or publicly display Vohrel’s instructional materials without prior written consent.
Academic materials you share with us (homework, test prep documents, etc.) remain your property. We claim no ownership over materials you provide.
Vohrel may request permission to use anonymized testimonials, success stories, or feedback related to your child’s experience. Any such use requires your separate, explicit written consent.
Without your written consent, we will never:
If you provide testimonial consent, you may revoke it at any time by emailing support@vohrel.com.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@vohrel.comwith the subject line “Parental Rights Request.” We will respond within 30 calendar days.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vohrel’s total liability arising out of or relating to this Agreement or our tutoring services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Vohrel in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Vohrel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of academic opportunity, emotional distress, or diminished academic performance. Nothing in this section limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
This Agreement remains in effect for as long as your child receives tutoring services from Vohrel, unless earlier terminated.
You may terminate this Agreement at any time by emailing support@vohrel.com. Termination does not affect obligations already incurred, including fees for completed or late-cancelled sessions.
Vohrel may terminate this Agreement if the student or Parent materially violates the terms of this Agreement or the Code of Conduct. We will provide written notice and, where appropriate, an opportunity to cure the violation before termination.
Upon termination, any unused session credits or package balances will be handled in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Our obligations regarding data protection and privacy survive termination.
We may update this Agreement from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued booking of sessions after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall first be submitted to good-faith negotiation; if unresolved within 30 days, either party may pursue remedies available under applicable law in the courts of the State of Utah.
